Heritage Lawn & Landscape Care headquartered in Thomasville, York County is one of the leading providers of lawn care, tree care and landscaping services in York, Adams, Cumberland and Lancaster Counties. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our customer service and sales support team as we grow. This critical full-time role will support our field sales representatives, our customers and our General Manager and collaborate with an experienced and energetic team of front office specialists.
CSR specific responsibilities include:
- Answer phone calls from customers and potential customers
- Maintain sales representatives’ calendars and schedule sales calls from incoming inquires
- Address customer service concerns and forward to sales reps and Customer Service Manager as appropriate
- Monitor accounts receivable and lead the collections process
- Sales data entry, including; work estimates, proposals, customer work orders and new customer contracts
- Post prepayments, deposits and payments and prepare bank deposits
- Track open and completed work orders and generate invoices when necessary
- Log and track soil samples and forward results to appropriate sales or technical staff
- Generate weekly sales and production reports for General Manager
- Log and track employee referrals and forward to sales reps for follow-up as necessary
Shared front office team responsibilities include:
- General filing, including sales contracts, daily production reports, invoices, deposit slips
- Assist with mail, bank deposits, office supply purchases, etc.
- Assist sales reps with proposal preparation
- Assist with service technician scheduling
Required Qualifications
- High School Education or equivalent, some secondary education a plus
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred
- Experience with accounts receivable
- Basic Math and Data Entry Skills required
- High-Level Computer literacy, including MS-Word and Excel
- Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
- Enjoy working with customers in fast-paced, team-based environment
- Able to handle multiple demands simultaneously
